Yeah, there's Rivero, over the top again. I wish he'd think harder before making stupid statements like that.

However, I don't think the statement you quoted equates to him being a "fascist sympathizer", in and of itself. If you're going to try to make that case, you need to book it comprehensively.

The fact is that there are recurrent cases of Jews committing acts of vandalism, forgery, etc. and employing Nazi imagery in the process, resorting to fraud to aid their political views. Sometimes it appears that there's evidence of psychological problems present as well. One head of an American Nazi group was exposed as having Jewish ancestry, which led to him committing suicide.

(I realize that there are those on the RI board who apparently don't believe that there is such a thing as "suicide", by people with controversial political involvements.)

That said, it's ridiculous to claim that Jewish agents provocateurs are behind most Nazi hate crimes. We've had these problems in Sacramento, and the perps have been shown to be Nazis.

I've been sick and tired of Rivero's "there is no Arab terror, the Mossad is behind everything" editorializing for quite a while.

But- the site he runs is mostly a link site, and in some respects it's the best one around. At any rate, I haven't found a decent replacement for it. I launch Windows off of it.

That would be a nice project for someone. They could even crib from Rivero's page to get the links, and I wouldn't mind.

I think that there may be evidence of provocateur activity in the recent Toldeo riots. Not "Jewish-inspired", though- ideologically based. Either as a pro-Bush COINTELPRO project, or from the hard Left, to "heighten the contradictions." I'm going to require more investigation to see what's up there.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 10/16/05 2:56 pm
